I’m New Here

Coming to a new place can be intimidating.  We want your Sunday experience to be welcoming and invitational. As you enter, you will be warmly greeted by our Guest Experience team – they are the ones wearing a lanyard and a friendly smile.

Our team is always available to answer any of your questions or find someone who can.

Come as you are and engage when you are ready. You can let us know by filling out a Connect Card or chatting with one of our team.  We want to make your next steps easy!

What is Sunday Service like?

We meet every Sunday at 10am. Each time we meet you’re invited to worship with us by singing for around 30 minutes. We believe worship should be vibrant and expressive.

Then we have a time of prayer and release our children to classes.

A sermon that is biblical, inspirational and applicable follows. The whole morning is less than 90 mins.

If you are a guest, we have a gift for you.

If you need a bible, we have one to give you.

If you give, we promise to put it to great use. Thank you!

What should I wear?

Casual. Comfortable. Come as you are

What about my kids?

We love and value them.

Before service or when kids are released, check-in your kids at the Sonrise Kids desk and receive directions to their designated classroom.  Our secure kids classrooms and led by qualified people.

Our Nursery, newborn to 18 months, is currently unsupervised. Feel invited to use the space with your baby as you take in the service.  As well, a mother’s nursing room is available across from the Washrooms in the main hallway.

Toddlers (18-36 months) and Preschoolers (3 & 4 year olds) are in classrooms down the kids wing. A reminder that kids need to be dropped off and picked up from their classrooms. They play lots and have a short teaching time. If it’s a nice day outside, they might even play outside in our secure play area.

Kids in Kindergarten through grade 6 start all together in the same classroom for a main lesson, and then split into smaller groups for age appropriate activities. The grades 4-6 will be released once service is finished to go and find their parents. Kids in Kindergarten to grade 3 will need to be picked up from their classroom with the tag that the guardian received at the time of check-in.
