We invite you to join us for our Summer sermon series, “Marked”!

Some things leave a mark. Spend enough time with a close friend and you start borrowing their expressions. Live somewhere long enough and it changes how you talk, what you eat, how you see the world. Whatever we stay near has a way of rubbing off on us.

The same is true of God.

In Acts 4, the religious leaders couldn't make sense of Peter and John. They were ordinary men with no formal training, yet there was something about them that couldn't be ignored or explained away. The only conclusion anyone could reach was that these men had been with Jesus. Time in his presence had marked them, and everyone could see it.

This summer at Sonrise Church, we're exploring what it means to live a marked life. Marked by the presence of God. Marked by prayer. Marked by consecration. Marked by mission. These aren't just sermon topics; they're the practices of a life spent close to Jesus, and they change everything they touch.

Our hope this summer is simple: that we would be a people who have so clearly been with Jesus that no other explanation makes sense.
